Clash of Clans Update: Instant Training Times Are Here!

Clash of Clans has introduced a game-changing update, and it’s one of the most exciting changes in years! Say goodbye to waiting for your troops and heroes to be ready—training times have been completely removed. This means faster battles, more action, and endless fun. Let’s dive into everything you need to know about this update and how it affects gameplay.

Clash of Clans Update: Instant Training Times Are Here!

No More Training Times!

One of the biggest frustrations for players has been the waiting time for army training. Now, after this update:

  • All troops, spells, and siege machines are instantly ready for battle.
  • Heroes will have no recovery time, meaning you can attack back-to-back without waiting.
  • Legend League players still have an 8-battle limit per day, but they will benefit from being able to attack without delays.

This change makes it easier to engage in long battle sessions without breaks. Whether you’re farming resources, pushing trophies, or competing in wars, your army will always be ready!

Why Was This Change Made?

Supercell’s goal is to make Clash of Clans more fun and engaging. Training costs were removed three years ago, which allowed players to experiment with different attack strategies. Removing training times is the next logical step, as it eliminates unnecessary waiting periods and keeps the action going.

Will This Affect Matchmaking?

Some players worry about increased clouding due to more frequent attacks. However, Supercell has introduced “Match Anytime” technology to improve matchmaking. Here’s how it works:

  • If there are no real player bases available to attack, you’ll be given a snapshot base.
  • You can earn loot and trophies from these bases, but the defender won’t lose anything.
  • This ensures you always have a battle available, reducing wait times.

This system has already been used in Legends League and Clan Wars but will now expand to multiplayer battles as well.

What About Training Potions, Treats, and Perks?

With training times removed, some Magic Items and perks are no longer needed:

  • Training Potions and Treats are removed from the game.
  • They will no longer be sold or included in in-game rewards.
  • Any remaining potions in players’ inventories will be converted to Gems.
  • The Training Perk in the Gold Pass will be reworked to provide a reduction in donation request cooldowns instead.

Changes to Clan Castle Donations

Donating troops will now require Elixir or Dark Elixir instead of training time. The exact cost is still being finalized, but Supercell wants to ensure donations remain accessible to all players.

Additionally, the Clan Castle reinforcement request timer will be changed to a flat 10-minute cooldown for all players, regardless of Clan level. This means every player gets the best donation perk automatically!

Will This Cause Trophy Inflation?

Since players can attack more frequently, the system has been adjusted to prevent rapid trophy inflation:

  • The amount of trophies earned per victory has been reduced.
  • One-star attacks will see the biggest reduction in trophy gains.
  • This prevents players from reaching higher leagues too quickly.

The Clash of Clans team will monitor this change and adjust it if necessary through server maintenance.

Legend League Adjustments

Legend League players will still have their 8 attack per day limit, but the removal of training times means you can complete all attacks in one session without interruptions. A future update may adjust Legend League limits, but for now, players can enjoy the streamlined battles.
